Switch releases give your offense an instant edge by creating confusion and free access off the line. The Switch Scissors Passing Concept is great against Cover 2 Zone and Man Coverage. This concept high-lows the flat defender- which against cover 2 is the CB. This is also a great concept against man to man coverage.

1: Slant route.
2: Quick out route- 5 yard stem.
3: Post route- 8 yard stem.
4: Inside release, 8 yard stack corner route.
QB: 3 to 4 to 2 vs. Zone ( or middle of the field open / two safeties). If you like the match up on the 1, you can look there.

The Scissors concept is highly effective against Cover 2 because it puts the play-side safety in conflict. The stacked alignment allows you to incorporate a switch release, creating immediate separation for your receivers right off the snap.
