In flag football, the Dagger Concept is especially effective because it attacks the soft spots in zone coverage and creates room for receivers to settle into open grass. It is also a great complement to quick game because once defenses start jumping short routes, the Dagger Concept gives your offense a way to attack the intermediate area of the field.
Dagger / Post-Corner Double Move for 6v6

This is one of my favorite split-field coverage beaters for 6v6 flag football! It’s great against man coverage, it’s great against cover 2 zone.
5: Dig route- 8 yard stem.
4: Seam vertical.
3: Quick hitch (HOT).
2: Post-corner double move- 8 yard stem, break to the post, 3 steps break to the corner.
1: Comeback route- 10 yard stem, work back to 6 yards.
This is a core passing concept in my 6v6 Attack System Playbook! This split-field coverage beater will give you an answer for any coverage the defense is playing.

The Dagger Concept is a great passing concept because it creates a clear high-low stretch on the middle of the field and gives the quarterback a simple progression. The vertical route is designed to push the deep defender back and clear space underneath, while the dig route works into the open window behind the linebackers or underneath zone defenders.
